U of I Results
Another truly memorable experience happened for all members of our band family this past weekend. After a truly remarkable day of preparation (in spite of weather challenges), our Marching Indians took the field with great confidence and presence to dazzle the audience and impress the judges! We received the highest score in our 20 year history of participation at the Illini Marching Band Championships! We earned a solid 4th place in 6A competition. Our colorguard earned a 4th place in the auxillary caption and our drumline continues to dominate with an impressive 1st place caption award! Looking forward to another great week of rehearsals (including Sr. night on Wednesday) and a fantastic day at Mahomet/Seymour on Oct. 20th.
