1st Football Game info!

Due to anticipated high temperatures on game day, your directors have decided that the band will wear summer band uniforms.  This will include your orange POLO shirt, black pants (not jeans), black shoes, black Drillmaster shoes.

Report time will be 6:15 pm in the band room.  Students will be finished somewhere between 9:40 pm and 10:15 pm. (depending on the length of the varsity game).

Channahon Parade Info!


ALL BAND STUDENTS - Call time for the Channahon 3 Rivers Parade this Sunday, August 12th is 10:45 am. Meet at the band room to bus to the parade starting point.

Attire for the parade is orange band polos, black pants (NOT skinny jeans), black socks, and black Drillmasters. 

Our band is entry #22 in the parade.

At the conclusion of the parade, parents (only) may sign-out their son/daughter without activities release form or pre-approval.  This is a recent change of policy from last week's parade. Parents may pick up students at the corner of Tryon Street and Jessup Street in Channahon immediately after the band finishes the parade route.

Anybody else wishing to sign-out a student MUST have submitted an activities release form signed by their parent and been pre-approved in advance. All other students will ride the bus back to MCHS.

Band camp success!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year's band camp a success, both in Charleston and behind the scenes. We could not have done it without our many supportive parents and school administrators!

We are so proud of the hard work, focus, good behavior, and enthusiasm of our students while down at camp! We accomplished a great deal and are so excited to move forward with our season. It's going to be a great year!

Shorewood Parade!

ALL BAND STUDENTS - Call time for the Shorewood Crossroads Parade this Sunday, August 5th is 10:30 am. Meet at the band room to bus to the parade starting point.

Attire for the parade is orange band polos, black pants (NOT skinny jeans), black socks, and black Drillmasters. Students who ordered a polo for this school year may pick them up on Friday night in the band room when we return from camp.

At the conclusion of the parade, all students who submitted an activities release form may be signed out with their parent. All other students will ride the bus back to MCHS.
